Please read this policy carefully. By using the App or Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

When you create an account or use the App, you may provide us with:

Account Information: Email address, username, display name, and password
Profile Information: Profile photo, bio, and other optional profile details
User Content: Videos, images, comments, and other content you upload, create, or share through the App

When you use the App, we automatically collect certain information:

Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information
Usage Data: Features used, content viewed, time spent in the App, challenges created or participated in, and voting activity

Safety & Protection: We may share information to protect the rights, property, or safety of Duelly, our users, or the public

4. Third-Party Tracking

At launch, Duelly does not use any third-party tracking SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics tools that track you across other apps or websites. We may introduce privacy-respecting analytics in the future, and this policy will be updated accordingly.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, resolving disputes).

User-generated content that has been shared publicly may remain visible even after account deletion, though it will be disassociated from your account.

6. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time through the App's settings. Upon deletion:

Your profile information, private data, and account credentials will be permanently removed
Your uploaded videos and content will be deleted from our active systems
Backup copies may persist for up to 30 days before being automatically purged

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Duelly is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@duelly.com.

9. Your Rights - CCPA (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose about you
Delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions
